Do I need to remind you about how much I love African star apple  No! but Yes, I love (Agbalumo).

Sticky body, sour-like taste,  milky juice,..hmmmm..😋 finding its way out after gentle press.

African star apple, is know by various name but the famous is AGBALUMO among the Yoruba people and UDARA among the Igbo's and in the northern (Hausa-Fulani) Part of Nigeria popularly known as Agwaluma. 

Its known among the English man as AFRICAN STAR APPLE and its scientific name is Chrysophyllum Africanum or Chrysophllum  albidum.

When I was a Child, we used the seed for very interesting play/games, and the girls used it for beautification and adorned themselves with the inner whitish halves of the seed.

 Here are some of the health benefits of African Star Apple.

> Agbalumo  is  blessed with a good amount of vitamin C / ascorbic acid than orange.

Recommendation.

Agbalumo is a low-calorie fruit as each fruit only contains about 67 calories. This means that you can eat more of it and not worry about excess calories. It also has a fibre content of 3g, which helps you feel fuller for longer. It can help reduce your food intake and subsequently aid weight loss.
